Abstract
This paper deals with a method, based on qualitative analysis, to write fuzzy controllers. Several qualitative controllers will first be analyzed. Then, the qualitative analysis will be used to explain the behaviour of existing fuzzy controllers. Finally, the method is applied to write fuzzy controllers automatically. Simulation results are provided for all types of controller.
