Abstract
Dr. Anderson is Professor of Psychology at Carnegie-Mellon University. His research is centered on ACT*, a production system capable of simulating intelligent behaviour and on the development of Intelligent Tutoring Systems. We meet John Anderson in a lobby of Chicago University during the Cognitive Science Conference. Contrary to some other interviewees, John Anderson is a very resolute speaker and answers all our questions prompt and concisely.
Clotilde Pontecorvo is a professor at the La Sapienza University of Rome. She is specialised in the field of education and technology. I met her during the European Conference for Research on Learning and Instruction in Turku, Finland. She evidently is not only interested in technological matters, but also deeply cares about social and cultural issues. This is noticeable in the way she talks: laughing a lot while answering the questions elaborately and emphatically.
