Abstract
On the basis of the reaction of (E)-4-methyl-1-phenylpent-2-en-1-one with chalcone and derivatives in ionic liquids [BMIM]PF6, highly regio-and diastereo-selective syntheses of 1,5-dicarbonyls have been achieved.
