Abstract
Various (2Z)-2-({(E)[arylamino]phenylmethylene}hydrazono)-1,4-diphenylbutan-1,4-diones are obtained during the reaction of amidrazones with 1,4-diphenylbut-2-yne-1,4-dione (DBD) in boiling ethanol.
