Abstract
The mild aqueous hydrolysis of 3,10-epoxypatchenol [2β,3′-epoxy-2(2′2′-dimethylbicyclo[2.2.1]hept-3′-ylidene)ethanol] gave products derived from hydration of the isobornyl-camphenilylhydro cation.
