Abstract
Some new phenazone (antipyrin) derivatives 2–11 have been synthesised by acylation, alkylation, condensation and ring closure reactions of 4-aminophenazone 1. The structures of the products have been secured by elemental analyses and spectral data (IR, 1H, and 13C NMR).
