Asymmetric (Z)-1-[2-(triphenylstannyl)vinyl]-1-indanol 1 and (Z)-1-[2-(bromo- diphenylstannyl)vinyl]-1-indanol 2 were synthesised and characterised by elemental analysis, 1H NMR, FT–IR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis.
