Summary
5-flurouracil at dosage level of 50-60 mg/kg/day produced a marked tumor inhibitory effect on human bronchogenic carcinoma grown in the hamster cheek pouch but was very toxic to the host. A dose of 25-30 mg/kg/day had no apparent effect on either tumor or host.
