Abstract
Summary
10 γ/kg i.p. of LSD potentiate the adrenal ascorbic acid depletion caused in rats by 25 γ/kg i.p. of epinephrine, 40 γ/kg i.p. of BOL are ineffective in this respect. 30 γ/kg i.p. of both serotonin and bufotenin potentiate the effects of epinephrine (25 γ/kg i.p.). The threshold doses of bufotenin and serotonin enhancing the epinephrine induced contractions of cat's nictitating membrane were 4.82 γ/kg i.v. and 88.01 γ/kg i.v.
