Abstract
Summary
A metabolic inhibition test for detection of antibodies to 5 group B Coxsackie virus serotypes has been described. A serologic diagnosis could be made in as high as 84% of cases. Persons possessing neutralizing antibodies from previous group B Coxsackie virus infections frequently showed heterologous as well as homologous antibody increases.
