Summary
1) Tissues of mice with hereditary muscular dystrophy and their normal litter-mates have been analyzed for cholesterol and total lipid content. 2) There is a consistent and highly significant increase in cholesterol concentration in the muscle of dystrophic mice of both sexes over that found in the non-dystrophic control animals.
