Summary
1. An improved method for large scale cultivation of N. gonorrhoeae in an atmosphere of air has been described. 2. A rapid method for the preparation of a stable fraction containing dry, soluble gonococcus endotoxin and some of the properties of this product have been presented. This endotoxin appears to be a protein. 3. DNA equivalents in different gonococcus fractions do not parallel toxicity.
