Summary
Digoxin administration to mature ovariectomized rats resulted in uterotropic response evidenced by heightening of epithelium and enlargement of epithelial nuclei. edema of the stroma with vesiculation of stromal nuclei and prominence of stromal nucleoli, and recovery of the myometrium. The response of castrate uteri to estrone was intensified by the concurrent administration of digoxin.
