Abstract
Summary
The effects of ultrasonic treatment on human brain thromboplastic suspensions have been presented. Although causing a loss in clotting potency, ultrasonic treatment does not affect the toxicity of intravenous tissue thromboplastin nor has it destroyed the TPase-labile component. The results are discussed and possible implications presented.
