Summary
A method is presented for estimating binding capacity of serum for radioactive vit. B12. This capacity was found to increase as the concentration of the vitamin was raised. “Bound” vit. B12 measured in this way is not synonymous with that considered bound because it is unavailable to certain microorganisms.
