Summary
1) Parathyroid extract increased the urinary excretion of calcium and strontium as well as increased deposition of these minerals in the kidney tissue. 2) Cortisone prevents accumulation of strontium and calcium in kidney tissue but does not influence urinary excretion or diuresis.
