Summary
1. A marked fall in urinary 5-HIAA excretion followed administration of chlorpromazine to a patient with known malignant carcinoid- 2. Intestinal hypermo-tility. one manifestation of the so-called “carcinoid syndrome” was likewise suppressed during administration of the drug.
