Summary
Choline-like and anticholine activities of a series of compounds structurally related to choline have been determined using segments of rabbit ileum. Triethyl-choline, β-methyltriethylcholine and α-me-thyl- α-hydroxymethylcholine were competitive inhibitors of choline in this tissue but had choline-like activity on segments of jejunum.
