Abstract
Summary
The release of phosphate from dog erythrocytes was about twice as fast when blood had been previously incubated with elec-trochromatographed orthophosphate rather than with P32O4 which had been acid-evaporated without previous electrochromatographic treatment. Similar inhibitory effects were observed in the uptake of phosphate by rabbit erythrocytes when an electrochromatographed phosphate solution was evaporated to dryness prior to use.
