Abstract
Summary
Mitotic activity in pinna epidermis of male ZBC mice was studied under environmental conditions standardized for evaluation of 24-hour periodicity, during the period of day of relatively high mitotic activity. Under these circumstances, antimitotic effects, exerted apparently during interphase, were noted for hydrocortisone and for 9α-flu-orohydrocortisone. The latter compound had more than 10 times the antimitotic potency of the former.
