Summary
Normal, postabsorptive, human serum was fractionated by means of the ultra-centrifuge and the lipoproteins studied with the aid of paper chromatography, ionophoresis and by chemical procedures. The characteristic features of β1-lipoprotein and methods for its isolation are described.
