Summary
It was observed that nalorphine and levallorphan were ineffective in antagonizing the respiratory depression produced in rats by large doses of phenobarbital, barbital, amytal and Seconal. The two compounds did, in large doses, cause some diminution in the depression produced by pentobarbital.
