Abstract
Summary
The effect of ACTH and several adrenal corticosteroids on experimental gas gangrene toxemia was studied. Treated rats were challenged with a standard dose of Clostridium perfringens type A filtrate. Results indicate that none of the above drugs increased the rate of survival.
