Abstract
Summary
A method of concentrating cel-lulase from marine wood-boring molluscs of the genus Teredo has been described. The procedure differs from others in that the cel-lulase is separated from tissue homogenate by adsorbing it on a precipitated form of cellulose gum. The latter is washed, redispersed, and the cellulase recovered by ammonium sulfate precipitation.
