Conclusions
1. Our results verify the usefulness of type 2 mouse tests of poliomyelitis vaccine as communicated to us originally by Salk and Krech, and as recently published by Krech. 2. Furthermore, trivalent poliomyelitis vaccine may be tested for antigenicity of all 3 components by mouse tests using intraspinal challenge with types 1 and 3 virus, and intravenous challenge with type 2 virus. 3. These tests can be completed in 10 or 11 days.
