Summary
It has been demonstrated that infusions of polyvinylpyrrolidone markedly reduce the antibody level of rabbits immunized by the water-in-oil emulsion adjuvant technic. Infusions of PVP do not affect the ability of rabbits to respond to subsequent intravenous or adjuvant type immunizations. The persistence of PVP in various tissues has been confirmed.
