Summary
Whole-body X-irradiation (600 r) had no effect on the activities of rat liver adenosine deaminase and nucleoside phosphorylase studied at intervals over a 10-day period following exposure. The specific activity of spleen nucleoside phosphorylase increased, although the total organ enzyme activity was reduced as a result of the decrease in spleen size.
