Conclusions
The toxic action of phenylethylamine and tyramine, but not of ephedrine and D-a-methylphenylethylamine is increased by pretreating guinea pigs with iproniazid. Isoniazid is less effective. The results are explained by the blocking of MO by iproniazid.
