Abstract
Summary
Epinephrine in dilute solution is destroyed by x-irradiation to yield what appear to be pharmacologically inert decomposition products. The presence of 0.9% sodium chloride offered a moderate protective action against this effect. The extent of loss of pharmacologic activity of epinephrine is exponentially related to the dose of x-irradiation.
