Abstract
Summary
The action of an antihyaluroni-dase substance that strikingly inhibits the growth of the tumor produced by the Shope fibroma virus is described. This inhibition is brought about by the action of this material on the cells or ground substance of the host and not by its action on the virus. As previously reported, hyaluronidase increases the size of the tumor-like lesions produced by the Shope fibroma virus in the skin.
