Summary
Tubercle bacilli exposed to 1000 γ isoniazid/ml of a buffer medium for 5 weeks at room temperature may be revived by appropriate concentrations of hemin, potassium ferricyanide, or sodium pyruvate. It was concluded that isoniazid possesses only a bacteriostatic effect under these conditions.
