Abstract
Summary
1. The urinary coproporphyrin excretion on 24-hour urine collections has been determined on a group of normal healthy boys aged 6 to 16 by the new improved method. 2. The urinary coproporphyrin level correlates closer with body weight than with age or surface area. 3. The urine coproporphyrin excretion in children is probably abnormal if the determination in a 24-hour collection is twice the standard deviation above the mean for the group the individual belongs to by weight.
