Summary
Two separate investigators, working in different laboratories at different times and with unrelated rat colonies have correlative data which shows, within the limits of the experiments, that spleen grafted ovaries will not noticeably extend the post adrenalectomy life of the host animal. The difference between the positive response in mice and the negative response in rats is noted. Histology of the grafted tissue was not correlated with the physiological response obtained.
