1. Serial antibody studies were performed on normal and cortisone treated rabbits immunized with mumps virus and bovine serum albumin. 2. sone suppresses development of antibodies to mumps virus as measured serologically, although the suppression is to a relatively lesser extent than that for BSSA antibody measured quantitatively.
