Summary
A number of factors under our experimental conditions influence fat deposition in the liver: the availability of niacin to the animal; the type of carbohydrate used in the ration and type and level of protein used. Individual amino acids and mixtures of amino acids which support optimal growth conditions do not produce minimum levels of fat in the liver.
