Abstract
Summary
1. Citrate formation is increased and oxidation is diminished by addition of fluoroacetate to kidney homogenates; under the same conditions, citrate formation is decreased and acetoacetate formation is increased while oxidation is unchanged in liver homogenates. 2. At higher concentrations of fluoroacetate, acetoacetate formation is also inhibited in liver homogenates.
