Abstract
Summary
Growth of chicks and poults was depressed by approximately 25% by the addition of 300 p.p.m. molybdenum to their rations. The addition of copper to the rations containing molybdenum caused slightly improved growth. There was no evidence of anemia or diarrhea in birds on the high molybdenum diets. Poults fed high molybdenum rations for over 4 weeks had normal feather pigmentation.
