Summary
1. Nitrogen mustard in a concentration of 500 mg per 1 failed to inactivate the Fort Bragg strain of serum hepatitis virus in whole blood. 2. Possible reasons for this failure are discussed. 3. The virus titer of the whole blood used was found to be at least 25000 infectious units/ml.
