Abstract

Summary

In confirmation of previous work(3,5), no evidence was adduced for the selective concentration of bromide in the form of Br⁸² by the pituitary gland of the rat and rabbit. The activity of gastric contents and gastric tissues was relatively high, but no preferential uptake by thyroid tissue(5) was demonstrated.
