Summary
Using the paper chromatographic technic significant changes in the protein patterns have been demonstrated in patients with multiple sclerosis. We are unable to state at present the relationship of these changes to the activity of the disease, but our evidence would seem to indicate that they may occur concomitantly with, or immediately following the onset of exacerbation. Furthermore the changes in protein patterns revert to normal during remissions.
