Summary
1) A method is presented for the spectrophotometric observation of intact, invertebrate nerves and their extracts in the presence or absence of oxygen. 2) Absorption maxima were observed for intact nerves between 538 and 568 mγ, and at 271 mγ for their aqueous extracts.
