Summary
Adding an APF supplement (Lederle) and crystalline aureomycin to the diet of young dairy calves significantly increased the rates of growth and reduced the incidence and severity of diarrhea. The data suggest that the responses observed may be largely the result of an antibiotic effect of aureomycin.
