Abstract
Summary
1. The presence of several controllable sources of error in the study of indicator spreading by the enzyme hyaluronidase has been demonstrated. These are rate of injection, enzyme concentration, volume of the injection mass and measurement after equal intervals of enzyme activity. 2. Each factor of error singly or in any possible combination with others may materially alter the results of any investigation using this spreading as a biological measure.
