Abstract
Summary
The agglutination of living cercariae of Schistosoma mansoni by immune sera in high dilutions is reported. This reaction which occurs in heat inactivated as well as in fresh serum also appears in the serum of monkeys recently infected with trichina. The agglutinin develops early in the acute infections and was absent in four of seven chronic schistosome infections.
