Summary
(1) Embryonic adrenal, ovary, thyroid and testes have been homologously transplanted to the anterior chamber of the eye of normal dogs, guinea pigs and rabbits with a 50 to 60% survival beyond six weeks in the latter 2 species of normal animals. (2) In transplants of pancreas, only the ducts survived. (3) The best growth occurred in those animals in which the corresponding endocrine organ was removed.
