Summary
Prodigiosin was fungistatic for Coccidioides immitis in dilutions through 1:500,000. It was fungicidal after 48 hours exposure in dilutions through 1:100,000. Prodigiosin hydrochloride, perchlorate and a water soluble glutamic acid derivative demonstrated similar in vitro effectiveness.
