Abstract
Summary
Normal mice, or mice bearing a transplantable lymphosarcoma, were given single injection s of adrenal cortical extract or exposed to a single radiation dose of 200 r (total body radiation). Examination of the serum protein patterns of these mice at 3 and at 6 hours after hormone injection, or at 6 hours after exposure to X-rays, revealed a striking increase in total serum protein levels. However, electrophoretic examination did not reveal significant alterations in the relative distribution of the serum proteins.
