Summary
By means of the falling nucleolus method it was determined that a 10°C increase in temperature lowers nuclear viscosity in the Asterias egg by approximately 2.7 centipoises. Thixotropic properties disappear at temperatures above 25°C and coagulation occurs at about 35°C.
