Summary
Beef brain phospholipid and beef lung hydrolecithin are oxidized by rat liver homogenates in the presence of adenosine triphosphate. Although this preparation oxidizes free fatty acids with the production of acetoacetic acid, the phospholipid oxidation does not result in such a product.
