Abstract
A method is described for the preparation of antigens for complement-fixation tests with certain neurotropic viruses. This antigen has been found to be practical, nonanticomplementary, specific and reliable. It is furthermore, easily prepared with ordinary laboratory equipment and can be made available, if necessary, within 6 hours from the time when the tissue is harvested, thus being useful for field work.
